Ensures probationers have assigned projects and directs their activities in compliance with court ordered restitution hours.
Develops and manages projects assigned to work crew. Transports probationers to and from worksites, tows trailer, and works in outdoor environments throughout the year. Coordinates schedules. Prepares and maintains reports of activities and case documentation of community service restitution hours performed. Ensures compliance with safety procedures. Assigns duties and plans work of others. Conducts drug testing and documents information in department computer system. Signs for and maintains equipment issued.
High school diploma or GED, two years job related experience. Must have verbal, written communication, supervisory, and organizational skills. Interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials. Construction, building maintenance and/or lawn maintenance skills preferred. Valid Texas Driver's License. Availability to work weekends and weekdays.
SALARY: Part-Time Minimum starting $13.64 per hour, based upon qualifications
