Serves civil papers, criminal warrants and enforces the law within the State of Texas. Patrols assigned area, answers calls for service, investigates criminal activity, submits reports and makes arrests.
Serves civil papers and criminal warrants as directed. Patrols precinct to deter crime. Assists public within scope of authority. Secures and preserves crime scenes. May work with traffic enforcement/traffic investigation.
High school diploma/GED; Basic TCOLE certification. One-year job experience or two years of college (60 Credit Hours). Strong verbal communication skills; the ability to interact effectively with the public. Valid Texas drivers license, and firearms proficiency.
SALARY RANGE: Volunteer – No salary
