Provides clerical and administrative assistance to the CSCD Department. Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department.
Prepares and inputs data into computer database; Scan court documents, mail and faxes into database. Retrieves and runs criminal history data; Runs driver’s license check and search for warrants. Prepares new case files; Updates and maintains case files; Prepares closed case files for storage. Collects fees and processes money received from walk-in clients, mail and drop box; Makes bank deposits and reconciles and balances money accounts. Responds to telephone inquiries and/or directs to proper person. Responsible for routine computer backups. Schedules and assigns appointments for clients according to residence. Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
High School Diploma/GED; One year job related experience. Good computer and typing skills, minimum 35 wpm. Good verbal and written communication skills. Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials. Ability to complete assigned projects. Bilingual preferred.
SALARY RANGE: Administrative/Clerical Grade 6, $1,104.00 - $1,298.40 biweekly based on qualifications
