  • Overview

    Provides clerical support to the department and the public to ensure effective, efficient and productive results.


    Answers telephone inquiries and/or directs to proper person or accurately records telephone messages.  Serves as front desk clerk; Provides assistance for records management, data collection and data entry.  Receives and distributes correspondence for the department.  Assist with scanning, organizing and maintaining files.  Provides general support and assistance to the staff.  Performs other duties as required.


    High School Diploma/GED; One year job related experience; Good computer and typing skills (minimum 35 wpm), verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees and elected officials. 


    SALARY: Temporary $10.00 per hour, up to 40 hours per week, for 11 to 12 weeks
