  • Overview

    Assist with maintaining inventory of County and Grant purchased property.  Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department.


    Records purchases, maintains inventory database, and establishes a system to maintain both paper and electronic documents in an efficient, accurate, and confidential manner that complies with County and State law.  Performs physical count of assets, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.  Corresponds with multiple agencies and Jurisdictions to ensure accuracy of all County and Grant purchased assets.  Manages archiving, scanning and storage of all documents.  Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering phones, and assisting public.  Participates in activities and duties related to Emergency Management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.



    High School Diploma/GED; One year job related experience.  Detail oriented.  Strong computer and typing skills (minimum of 35 WPM) and data entry.  Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.  Good verbal and written communication and must possess the ability to prioritize work and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.  The ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials.  The ability to work other than normal working hours during emergencies.  This position requires 24-hour on-call availability with extended periods of work possible due to emergency situations.  This is a temporary Grant-Funded position.


    SALARY:  Part-Time Employee, $10.00 per hour, 28 hours per week
