  • Overview

    Responsible for the administrative functions of the Facilities Management & Planning Department.  Performs clerical duties, such as, typing, filing, and working with various software systems.  Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group.


    Responds to incoming calls and directs to proper person to assist County employees and public as necessary.  Maintains electronic and manual filing systems for County projects and buildings by scanning, coding and cataloging documents.  Maintains/updates Employee Directory online and paper format.  Updates Facilities department information on County website.  Assists Administrative Manager with reviewing and processing invoices, maintains departmental files and other documentation associated with administrative functions of the department.  Processes mail for the department.  Enters requisitions and tracks the issuance of purchase orders.  Assists vendors, County employees and the public as necessary.  Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers. 


    High School Diploma/GED; Two years job related experience.  Demonstrated computer skills including Word, Excel, Adobe Professional, Lawson, PowerPoint and other software experience and knowledge to assist in accomplishing tasks and goals.  Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred.


    SALARY RANGE: Administrative/Clerical Grade 7, $1,180.00 - $1,388.00 biweekly based on qualifications
