  • Overview

    Coordinates the data gathering, data analysis and data reporting/presentation for various special projects and evaluation initiatives with the Health & Human Services Department.  Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department.


    Initiates and manages the needs assessments of the target population for both the 1115 Waiver and the HHS Community Health Assessment.  Manages implementation of an effective performance management system for 1115 Waiver projects in both the Primary Care and Behavioral Health arena and other work effort of the Health & Human Services Department.  Serves as manager of the communication efforts with existing and potential community partners and stakeholders.  Coordinates data gathering, data management and data analysis across the various projects in the 1115 Waiver and the Health & Human Services Department.  Coordinates reporting to the Regional Anchor, TxHHSC and CMS for all waiver projects, to PHAB for Public Health Accreditation and for other initiatives within the Health & Human Services Department.  Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.


    Bachelor’s degree with some healthcare involvement; Master’s Degree Preferred; Five years experience in project management or related effort.  Proven proficiency with both oral and written communication skills.  Organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks a must.  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees and elected officials


    SALARY RANGE: Public Health Grade 12, $2,287.20 - $2,690.40 biweekly based on qualifications
