Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

Plans, manages and provides work direction to Mobile Team and client/server operations. Establishes guidelines to monitors systems performance, and ensures applications stability through the effective use of personal computers, servers, and technical services. Develops operational policies and procedures, determines most efficient utilization of personnel and equipment. Strong focus on customer service delivery and meeting defined SLA response times for incidents.  Overseeing the planning, coordination and implementation of the IT infrastructure and mobile device policies and measures.  Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plans, manages and provides work direction to Mobile and client/server operations. Ensuring customer service levels are adhered to and SLA’s for response times are maintained.
  • Recommends and implements Server and Desktop security policies and standards to ensure adherence to approved CJIS, HIPPA requirements and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Coordinates work performed by outside vendors and monitors vendor service levels.
  • Participation and recommendation of new technology solutions for items such as Mobile Device Management, Cloud Services, Virtual Environments, Desktop Security, and Exchange.
  • Research and recommend technology in support of long-range network capacity planning.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and initiates resolutions as supervisor level support for all LAN/WAN in support of both local and remote network connected devices.
  • On-call 24/7 to respond to network related problems and outages issues.
  • Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferred.  (High School/GED and 4 years of relevant professional experience in addition to 7 years required experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree)
  • 7 years of job related experience, including 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong multi-platform system technical skills;
  • Strong analytical and system design skills;
  • Strong background in technical support and operations management;
  • Exceptional supervisory and organizational skills,
  • Verbal and written communications skills; interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, vendors, other employees, and elected officials.
  • Microsoft 0365 Technical Experience, Azure implementation, VMware implementation and support, SAN management, Active Directory Design and support, Powershell usage, Group Policy implementation

 

SALARY RANGE: $47.84 - $59.80 hourly, based on qualifications
