JOB SUMMARY:

Ensures probationers have assigned projects and directs their activities in compliance with court ordered restitution hours. 

Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages projects assigned to work crew. 
  • Transports probationers to and from worksites, tows trailer, and works in outdoor environments throughout the year. 
  • Coordinates schedules. 
  • Prepares and maintains reports of activities and case documentation of community service restitution hours performed. 
  • Ensures compliance with safety procedures. 
  • Assigns duties and plans work of others. 
  • Conducts drug testing and documents information in department computer system.  
  • Signs for and maintain equipment issued.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Two years job related experience.  
  • Must have verbal, written communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials. 
  • Construction, building maintenance and/or lawn maintenance skills preferred. 
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License. 
  • Availability to work weekends and weekdays.

 

SALARY: $16.11 hourly, Part-Time up to 21 hours per week

CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
