Work Here!   JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for conducting forensic and psychological evaluations pursuant to court order for the purpose of providing expert opinions to Fort Bend County courts. Primary responsibility will be completing competency to stand trial evaluations, but with appropriate experience and/or training, may also be required to complete evaluations concerning a variety of psycholegal subject matter including, but not limited to: fitness to proceed, lack of responsibility, sanity, and risk of dangerousness. Duties include providing written forensic opinions in a timely manner, consulting with attorneys and court officials regarding various forensic issues, testifying in court proceedings as needed, assisting in supervising practicum students and/or interns, appropriately maintaining records, and completing routine administrative tasks.
